In May 2017 I took part in the Pint of Science festival, an international science communication event. I delivered a talk on the current and future state of Antarctica and Greenland in a dingy pub in Edinburgh.

In June 2015, having come through various earlier rounds, I finished runner-up in the University of Edinburgh "Three Minute Thesis" competition, with a talk titled "The Greenland Ice Sheet: cold ice in a hot drink." I practiced it so much I can probably still regurgitate it word for word...
